Create a Unique Office Environment
The office is your work place. It is considered as a home away from home for you and your employees. Therefore, the right office environment is a very important factor. After all, employees spend as eight to ten hours a day at the office and usually five days a week. Disregard the motivational posters. Every office seems to have them, with photos of eagles soaring or someone climbing a mountain and an inspirational quote at the bottom. Replace them one or two fine art prints that will look so much more elegant and than ten motivational posters. And the office will look much more new and brighter.
Your reception area doesn’t have to look intimidating. You must have an atmosphere that is welcoming for your clients. A smaller, lower desk will seem more approachable. You may scatter chairs around the room in informal groupings with small tables in between.
Use bolder colors. If you want a unique office environment for your small medium business that people will remember and feel good about, you should stand out! Choose bright, saturated colors for your walls, or paint only two walls and paint the other two in a more muted version. Your company is bold, innovative and energetic!
