It is really quite frightening these days if you are a small business owner. The cost of running a business continues to rise in the face of fuel hikes and a volatile market. With the real estate credit problems and all the other market indicators going down, it seems that having a small business right now is one of the worst situations to be in. It also does not help that consumers are getting more and more conscious of what they should and shouldn’t buy, and what services they could do without. Instead of buying or paying others to check on their plumbing for example, most would just take the time to look into the problem themselves.
So what can an entrepreneur do in a somber situation like this?
